Remuneration: £32,000 (pro-rata)

Hours: 25 hours per week (with full-time extension possible)

Duration: Until 31st December 2025 (with the strong likelihood of extension)

User-Friendly are a marketing and campaigning agency who support a wide range of animal advocacy organisations with their efforts. Campaigns Lab is a subsidiary of User-Friendly, this role sits within Campaigns Lab. 

The Role

We are looking for someone who is a content generalist with a broad range of skills. This role commands an organised, detail-oriented person who can manage multiple competing deadlines and stakeholder expectations. 

You should be able to demonstrate strong graphic design skills, video editing and creation skills, copywriting abilities and have experience in social media - ideally, you have run a business social media account in the past.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content for a wide range of client needs e.g. reports, social graphics, slide decks, simple websites etc.

  • Create digital ads for both our own work and our client needs

  • Create eye-catching thumbnails, engaging snippets, and provide other finishing touches for YouTube videos and other content like podcasts where relevant

  • Promote our work on our website and other promoting platforms including sharing of case studies, advertising our courses and trainings and events 

  • Other design and content tasks as per our client needs 

Essentials: 

  • Experience creating content for and posting on social media

  • Strong work ethic and able to represent the Campaigns Lab brand in a professional manner 

  • Knowledge of the animal advocacy space and the messaging around this topic

  • Strong copywriting skills with attention to detail

  • Confident dealing with multiple competing deadlines 

  • Task management efficiency

  • Self motivated and proactive

  • Ability to complete 25 hours per week worth of output

  • Ability to be contracted on a freelance basis (self-employed)
